Mark photographed our wedding in December and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with our beautiful photos. A year on they continue to bring a smile to our faces and bring back so many happy memories. Mark was great to have around on the day, he really put us at ease and went the extra mile to ensure every aspect of the day was captured from working outside in the freezing cold, to staying well into the evening. Mark photographed our wedding during September and did an excellent job. Neither of us are particularly happy having our photo taken, and we didn’t want the photography to dominate the day, and he got this just right. He was where he needed to be exactly when he needed to be there, and managed to be invisible the rest of the time, getting the perfect shots of our guests having fun. His friendly relaxed approach put us at ease, and made the posed shots we were dreading effortless and enjoyable. We keep looking at the photos and live so many of them. If you need a photographer, Mark is the guy to book! Highly recommended!
Mark was such a delight to deal with the whole way through wedding preparation and also on the day. He was a great calming influence during some of the more stressful staged photos on the day and adapted so well when we changed the running order of the day last minute. He then blended in with the day effortlessly to catch some great in the moment natural shots. The photos that have come back are way above our expectations and there are so many beautiful shots and precious memories. He also captured the feel of the day perfectly and worked with the natural light that was there – some of the shots are so artistic and just beautiful. Couldn’t have asked for more from a wedding photographer.

The photos are amazing, we have not stopped looking at them, we’ve been smiling and laughing at them all afternoon, we just love them so much!
I don’t know how you capture the tiniest bits of light and make it look like a spotlight has been made for each individual. We are so grateful to have hired you as our photographer and I honestly can’t imagine having anybody else do it. You have been able to capture exactly how we felt on the day in all the photos, and now we can look back on them and relive our day all over again.

Mark shot our wedding and we couldn’t recommend him highly enough. He will capture what your day was really like, both for you and your guests. He is unobtrusive and yet still managed to get so many amazing shots – to the point where we struggled so much to cut our photos down to our favourite 100 for an album. I can confidently say that we have the best wedding pictures of anyone we know; a fact that our married friends have been forced to admit!
If you want lots of formal shots this isn’t the photographer for you, and we actually regret bothering to try formal shots, the candids are just much nicer. Mark stayed for the entire day, which few photographers are willing to do. He sorted out a second shooter for us, and one who matched his style so everything flows nicely. Mark beat expectation on turnaround time with a couple of weeks to spare on 750 photos. You get a private link to a gallery which holds your photos for a year and from where you can order the prints, as well as a USB in a nice box.
We got an Engagement Shoot done with him before the wedding, and were glad that we did (had practically no nice photos of us as a couple and now we have loads). He’s quick responding to the many emails that go back and forth in the run-up to such an event, and also is a really nice guy which should count for something.
View photos from their day My wife and I chose Mark as our wedding photographer after seeing some of his pictures from the wedding of a family friend. We knew we had to choose a photographer wisely as we will be looking at these pictures for the rest of our lives. Choosing Mark certainly paid off. We received a photo from our wedding the very next day and it certainly was a sign of good things to come.
Mark knew our venue well having been there multiple times before so had an excellent working knowledge of where and when to get the best pictures. He catered exactly to the planned pictures we wanted and was there throughout the day to get the random action shots of the whole event.
Mark was also present for over 12 hours (this is something we did not even have to pay extra for like some other photographers) working tirelessly throughout, he attended the cottage in the morning where my wife and her bridal party were getting ready and didn’t leave the venue until very late in the evening. I have known and heard of other photographers leaving immediately after the first dance.
Mark was excellent from the point of booking all the way through to our wedding day, keeping in touch and getting to know what we would like from him. The wedding album was available to us within 2 weeks and we had well over 500 photos to look through. The photos were incredible, looking through them, even now nearly 4 months later, has made us both smile and remember so many amazing memories from our special day. And we will continue to look through them for the rest of our lives.

Mark was the photographer at our wedding in February. He was fantastic. Friendly at the start of the day then literally hardly noticed him during all the days events.
We took a short time out to do some extra photos which were lovely. He captured loads of natural moments as well as the formal shots we asked for. My favourites are those ones of people laughing and enjoying the day when they had no idea they were being photographed! Also he does some great party shots in the latter stages of the day. Highly recommend him.
Mark was our wedding photographer at the Trinity in August. He was absolutely fantastic, the shots we ended up with are wonderful. Mark was stealth like on the day…completely unobtrusive but was snapping away the whole time. He stayed into the night so we got photos from start to finish. Mark has been fantastic and we are delighted we chose him for our wedding at Thornbury Castle. He was very responsive from the start, he listened to what we wanted and made us feel so relaxed on the day. We don’t like posing and having Mark there made it so easy. With regards to the pictures, they are stunning! They are warm, natural, unique and he managed to capture the best moments of our special day without even noticing him. Mark’s pictures are not ordinary pictures and that’s what makes him to stand out from the hundreds of wedding photographers you will find out there. He plays with the depth of field and he uses the light in the most beautiful way. It was also great that Mark was taking pictures throughout the day so we didn’t have to spend hours posing, which is not the most exciting thing on your wedding day. Finally, he spend all day with us at no extra cost and he worked so hard on that day. We cannot recommend him enough and if you’re thinking about it just go for Mark.
