“Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.”
This famous line spoken by Forrest Gump could equally apply to weddings. I wake up, usually feeling excited and nervous in equal measure, and head off with no expectations and other than a rough outline for the day, no idea what might happen. This is one of the reasons I love what I do. 2017 has had some truly memorable moments and some lovely surprises. Thank you for the boat rides, the morris dancing, the DeLorean, the laughs (so many!), the samba and the Haka – man that was powerful stuff! Thank you to all the couples who asked me to work for them, and their friends and family for making each day such a memorable one – it means sooo much!
What follows is a snapshot of 2017, the ‘Best’ one hundred images from the year. I could equally call it ‘some of my favourites’, but that wouldn’t sound as good! Narrowing it down from over 17,000 delivered images has been tough, and I’ve applied absolutely no criteria other than that for the most part, they just make me smile!
This coming year is already shaping up nicely and I can’t wait to get started. If you’d like to check my availability you can contact me here.
Have a great 2018!
Mark
