I’d suggested we head to Dyrham Park for Emma & Frank’s pre wedding shoot as it was so close to where they live, and I’m so glad they took up the offer. What a day for it, with blue skies and fluffy clouds – September has been kind! A favourite place of mine on the edge of Bristol, Dyrham Park is a National Trust property with acres of parkland, great views, a stunning mansion, and a herd of fallow deer. Awesome all round, and we made some awesome images! So much so that you’ll see a few new personal favourites of mine below. It’s such a varied place and great for taking some long distance shots and trying out different compositions with the landscape. So we spent a couple hours walking around the park, strolling up and down the rolling hills, photographed them with the deer (yay!), and explored the beautiful grounds at the back of the mansion. With some great light, stunning scenery and Emma & Frank playing their part, it really made my job feel too easy!
They’ll be getting married at Kingscote Barn next year, another lovely little spot in the countryside. Can’t wait!
