It’s been an age since I last blogged any engagement photos. Most of these sessions take place during the spring and summer months. But last November saw me hop on a bus to make a trip across the M4 to meet up with Jennifer and Sam for their London pre wedding shoot . You’ll notice the weather wasn’t exactly on our side – but then I do like a challenge! It was pretty much non stop drizzle for the few hours we were together. In fact one of my cameras LCD even got partly frazzled – aren’t they supposed to be weather sealed!? Lesson learnt.
Fortunately Jen & Sam were cool with the weather and came prepared. We made the most of any breaks in the rain, but otherwise went on the hunt for cover around the centre of London. We started off in Trafalgar Square before heading into the Savoy for a few photos – a place they really love going to. From there we took walk across the Thames for a wander around Southbank.
Sometimes pre wedding shoots can be a little nerve wracking for a couple at the beginning, and especially in the crowds of a city centre. But these two were super stars from the start and we had such a great time. By the end of it we were sat in the pub and it felt like I’d made two new friends. I’ve even put a few of their images into my pre wedding photography portfolio.
Jennifer and Sam are getting married at Berkeley Castle later this year and I cannot wait!
