Looking back through Nick & Rosie’s Guildhall Wedding photos in Bath brought back some fun memories. The following images were taken a couple of months ago on another sweltering hot day in June. Immediately after the ceremony Nick and Rosie walked straight out to the back kitchen. ‘Did you want a quiet moment alone?’ I asked. ‘No we’re just going to cool off in the air conditioning, we’re baking!’
I’ve documented a number of weddings at Bath Guildhall, but this was my first time photographing in the impressive banqueting room. They held a mini reception here before heading over to the Roman Baths and Pump Rooms for more drinks, canapés and wedding breakfast. In between we nipped over to the Parade Gardens for a few portraits before the heat won out again. With everything in close proximity the day flowed really nicely. Rosie got ready at the MacDonald Bath Spa hotel with her bridesmaids, which again was not too far away.
Despite the heat (I was a bit sticky at the end of the night), I’ll remember this occasion as a day of near non stop fun and laughter – just as it should be! I had a brilliant time capturing it and really need to give a shout out to my assistant Yasmina for helping out on the day and doing an amazing job.
Here are some of my favourites from the day…
