I’m delighted to show you some of my favourite photos from Tom and Bethan’s Gants Mill wedding. Gants Mill provided the perfect setting for their relaxed wedding on a sunny day in September. Located just outside Bruton in Somerset, it’s owned and run by a very welcoming Greg and Elaine. As it also happens to be their home they only hold a limited number of weddings per year. It’s an idyllic setting nestled in a valley and surrounded by green hills and fields. The gardens are beautiful and well kept and made for a lovely backdrop for their portraits. Greg will happily organise a tour of the historic mill for you on the day too. I loved the place and hope to be back one day soon!
Some memorable highlights for me include the best reading ever of the Owl & Pussycat, and Toms purple suit! I don’t think many men could do it but he pulled it off in style! Add to that a great party at the end of the night! Tom and Bethan organised a ceilidh to kick things off which are always fun to photograph as they get everyone involved.
Other mentions from the day should go to The Dorset Chef for the fabulous food, Jo at the Flower Shop in Bruton, and The Ship Band providing the ceilidh.
Bethan hired an apartment for the morning preparations in Bruton, just a short walk from the ceremony at St Marys Church. From there it was a quick drive round to Gants Mill for the wedding reception.
Thank you so much for having me I had such a fab time!
