I’m really pleased to able to share some of Jennie and Roman’s Cadhay Wedding Photographs. What a special day this was! Cadhay is a new venue for me and Jennie & Roman had put in so much effort getting it to look just they way they wanted. Seriously – loads! Although the weather turned out a bit topsy turvey for most of the day it definitely didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits!
For anyone thinking of hosting their wedding at a country manor house you should definitely have Cadhay on your list. This gorgeous Elizabethan house in Devon has acres of grounds which are beautiful and the whole place has a lovely welcoming feel. From a photography perspective I felt a little bit spoilt!
With family and friends having stayed overnight, most people were already in the main house in the morning. Jennie and the girls were getting ready in the drawing room when I arrived. The ceremony was held in the Tea Room just around the corner, and a tipi was set up for the wedding reception. My favourite moments came toward the end of the night. The ending party was pretty special – one which I really enjoyed watching unfold from the sidelines :)
Hat tips to other suppliers for making the day so memorable include Jai for the hair and make-up, and Laura Hingston for the fabulous flowers. Two Feathers for providing the music during the ceremony and reception, and Malavita for kicking off the nights antics in style (including conga!). Cru Events for the fabulous food and the Bakeshed for the cake. It was first time working with Gioni da Silva too – check out his videos, they are simply awesome.
Thanks for choosing me to capture your Cadhay wedding photographs Jennie & Roman. It was only when choosing my favourites I realised just how many lovely images there are!
