I had a smile on my face for much of the time whilst editing these images, it was such a pleasure working my way through them and reliving Emma & Alasdair’s wedding day. They’d picked two brilliant, contrasting venues for their wedding at Arnos Vale & The Paintworks, just a few minutes walk from each other, and the spring sunshine cast a beautiful light across much of the day – we were even lucky enough to catch an unexpected sunset!
The day began in one of the apartments down at the Paintworks in what must make one of the coolest bridal suites going. It was then over to Arnos Vale cemetery for a very atmospheric and intimate ceremony inside the elegant Spielman centre. The combination of beautifully classic, and new urban venues provided ample opportunity for some fabulous portraits which we duly took advantage of throughout the day. Emma & Alasdair’s Arnos Vale & Bristol Paintworks Engagement Shoot a few weeks prior proved to be a nice warm up, and I was really pleased that their wedding portraits turned out to be just as photogenic.
This was my first time photographing at either of these two venues and I absolutely loved it, and I’d like to thank Emma & Alasdair so much for happily going along with my ideas and entrusting me to capture their wedding day. Here’s some lovely feedback:
