It’s been a few weeks since I photographed Dan & Beckie’s Clifton Suspension Bridge Engagement Shoot. Having been rained off the day before, we decided to start nice and early to beat the Sunday crowds. As a bonus we were blessed with some crisp morning light. It was close to zero, and behind the lens I was layered up to the max! That still didn’t stop my fingers turning to icicles by the end of it but it was well worth it. We walked our way over the bridge and up and around the observatory and generally had a bit of fun. Dan & Beckie are getting married later this month and I’m really looking forward to it!
The last time I had the chance to do some Pennard House Wedding Photography was during the summer time. It’s one of my favourite Somerset wedding venues, so when Rory and Liane contacted me to photograph their Pennard House winter wedding I absolutely jumped at the chance! As I hope you’ll see, it works really well as a lovely cosy venue when it’s close to zero outside too. read more
With the weather as depressing as it is in the depths of winter, I thought it might be nice to post a few photos of Chris & Josie’s Somerset marquee wedding back in June. The sun shone all day. In fact it was a stinker of a hot day! read more

I’m delighted to show you some of my favourite photos from Tom and Bethan’s Gants Mill wedding. Gants Mill provided the perfect setting for their relaxed wedding on a sunny day in September. Located just outside Bruton in Somerset, it’s owned and run by a very welcoming Greg and Elaine. As it also happens to be their home they only hold a limited number of weddings per year. It’s an idyllic setting nestled in a valley and surrounded by green hills and fields. The gardens are beautiful and well kept and made for a lovely backdrop for their portraits. Greg will happily organise a tour of the historic mill for you on the day too. I loved the place and hope to be back one day soon! read more
