This week I’d like to share some Priston Watermill wedding photos from Phil & Kate’s outdoor ceremony. Outdoor weddings don’t happen all too often, so it’s great to be able to capture them when the weather is on our side!

Last year I was given the opportunity to be Amy & Tim’s Pennard House Wedding photographer. If you haven’t heard of it, Pennard House is a bit of a hidden gem in terms of Somerset wedding venues. Tucked away in some of the most idyllic countryside, this Georgian manor and coach house is set in secluded gardens and surrounded by woodland and meadows. Photography wise, I was spoilt for choice! It also happens to be somewhere close to my heart, just 10 minutes away from the site of Glastonbury festival. In fact this beautiful country house is usually taken over at that time by music industry types and is full of festival memorabilia. There’s also a nod to Glastonbury with it’s own tipi field that guests can hire for accommodation. read more

We even managed to eke out a sunset! read more
When I came to look through Tracy and Jess’s Matara Centre wedding photos to write this blog post, it made me realise (yet again) just how lucky I am to be doing a job I love so much. I can remember every couple and every day at work, apart from those many hours lost in the editing cave! Picking out my favourites has brought back so many happy memories and forgotten feelings. read more
Back in September I drove up to Gloucestershire for Katie and Craig’s Elmore Court wedding. I met Katie and the bridesmaids at a lovely little cottage in the countryside called Hartleton Lake Retreat. The sun was shining, and a relaxed morning was spent here getting ready before heading over to Elmore Court for the wedding ceremony. read more
